I read about LaunchBar in a blog and decided to give it a try, and... my GOD! It is ASTOUNDING! <img src="graemlins/surprised.gif" border="0" alt="[Surprised]" />

I only wished it would work together with

1. iTunes playlists (so you have a "german rock" playlist, and type &lt;cmd-space&gt; and then "germ..." and iTunes will switch to that playlist)

2. the Chimera history (cuz I'm too lazy to add all the important stuff to bookmarks) so I can type "" and it will go to this board

3. my fridge! So I can type "margari" and then "chees" and it'll pick up margarine and cheese up for me ( )

There are only two things I don't like about it:

1. it doesn't belong into the dock. Yes I know, there's a section in the help on how to remove the dock icon, but I don't like the noted issues with that.

2. I don't like the way it hacks itself to the right of the system menus.

good ideas... just remember to forward them to objective development. they are staying on top of developing this app, and i am sure they are open to suggestions.

and yes, a LOT of users who have tried this app simply will not go back. which of course means that apple will reverse engineer it, and include it as a part of the system for 10.3 or something (sorry, i still feel bad for the guys who made watson...)

There were two apps that I used in OS X that I was like "Why doesn't apple just include this with OS X?" was Watson...and we know what happened with that....

and the other one was LaunchBar...OS X would not be OS X to me without LaunchBar...If you have OS X you must try this...

The developer has replied and says that he'll try and implement my two suggestions.
