What would best suit me?

I'm looking at selling my piece of crap PC and getting an iBook. I don't need top of the line equipment, but I don't want a piece of crap. I also want Garage band included with the iBook. Now I'm a student and I'm on a tight budget , so if anyone could recommend anything to help me out , that would be great.

    Get an Ibook with 1 gig of memory and avoid the slow hard drive you should be set for years.

    Just make sure to use the education store to get the student discount.

    Or go to the refurb page on Apple's store, if somehow you can't get the student discount.
