    Why on earth did they cut out a square to show the logo through? It ruins to whole effect) not that I'd be seen dead with these things though...

    From a design standpoint, that thing seems to be an absolute blunder by all measures possible.

    Probably so the remote will work because the infra red reader is right under it. These are hideous looking though.

    These are hideous and an insult to the Apple Design Team, as well as all designers everywhere. Customize your mac personally if you want to make it yours by design, but don't mess with good design by covering it with a garbage bag.
