1. always crash, so i was forced to shut down my computer

2. my finder icon is out of the dock...

3. i cant use preview to read comic, cuz the name is not in the right order 1,2,3,20,21,23...

4. must use repair disk from start up cd, about 2-3 times a week...always disk error..:

5. cannot instal flash player 9, it always error

Volume Bit Map needs minor repair

Checking volume information.

Invalid volume free block count

Invalid volume free block count

%@ instead of %@)",2)

25404843

The volume iM-ON needs to be repaired.

5. some font dont work in AI cs2 if i save the file it crash...

6.i tunes some time wont quit...

Solution i already do :

1. change the motherboard,

2. change the Hard disk....

Still Problem no :

2. my finder icon is out of the dock...(AGAIN?)

3. i cant use preview to read comic, cuz the name is not in the right order 1,2,3,20,21,23....(AGAIN?)

4. must use repair disk from start up cd, about 2-3 times a week...always disk error..:.(AGAIN?)

5. at first, suddenly it crashed and must forced to shutdown , it could be due to,1 gig RAM PC 4200 (mac recommendation) is not working suddenly / EMPTY, but the pc3200 is still ok..

so im just use the 2 gig 3200 (at lower speed) i take out the 4200..out..in hope it wont crash again...

6. gimme some tunes program, always quit, so im using quick tunes for now, well it doesnt matter, cuz i like quick tunes better...

Question :

1. is it okay if im using 2 type of speed for my ram, operating at pc4200 (1 gig) and pc3200(2gig)

2. is it possible that my OS 10.4.2 cd is not good...should i buy 10.4.3 cd

3. what should i do...? > . <...

You replaced the mobo and the hard drive? And are still getting disk errors?

Upgrade to 10.4.8. Software Update should do this automatically for you.

CS2 had a Vietnamese Legal file that trashes the disk directory. You may want to look in the CS2 folder, remove that file, back up, and reinstall and then upgrade to 10.4.8.

It could be the RAM - boot from the DVD holding down the "d" key to run the Hardware Test.

It could also be a bad hard drive connector. Try the hard drive in the other hard drive slot.

You changed the motherboard and the hard drive and you are still getting Volume Bit Map errors? I definitely would swap out ram. I doubt your installation CD would create such a problem.
