2 questions about DVD playback
Hello everyone, I just got my iMac 24" 2 weeks ago and I am absolutely thrilled with it, I can go on and on about how fantastic this things is but I'm sure that we've all heard enough of that. So on to my questions, I noticed that in the preferences of the DVD player software there is an option for HD playback, my first question is whether I can playback the new HD-DVD format movies with this player and if so, has anyone tried it and can tell me whethere it is a big difference over the standard definition discs.
My second question is about connecting a 5.1 surround sound speaker set to the machine. Specifically I am looking at the Logitech X530 speaker system. How can I connect this speaker system to the 1 jack at the back of the iMac so I can get the best performance out of it?
