Font Issues

Day 2 with my MBP, and I'm having issues with the fonts on the web. I'm using FF and have resized the fonts up and down, but they never stay consistent. Sometimes they are way too huge, but most of the time they are too small, forcing me to zoom in or out, respectively. Is there anything I can do to keep them consistent throughout the web? Thanks.

    Rather than spending your time fighting the decisions made by webdesigners on a page-by-page basis, why don't you create and select a style sheet with your preferred settings?

    Sounds good, but I have no idea as to how to do that.
