New Transformers trailer

The CGI looks good although not 100% refined. Optimus Prime is very different from the animated series and comics. And the Decepticons look pretty damn evil. This may be interesting.

    Looks ok to me. I love CGI films when they are done well. I can't judge from a trailer but it's got my interest. Is it just me or does anyone else hope that girl at the end gets squished?

    I want this movie to not suck soooooo bad. It doesn't even have to be good, just not suck. Man did I love transformers as a kid.

    This is certainly a great "template" for the Transformers Movie to have - the problem with that full Transformers trailer is that Michael Bay tends to just overdo stuff. He just has no self-control. No idea of less-is-more. The transformers are over-tech-ized, too blurry and fast to get a feel that they are living, breathing machines, not just tech overflowing-all-over like some crazy ass manga/anime.



    Maybe it's just the way the trailer was cut, but I think Michael Bay probably couldn't just shoot say Optimus Prime talking to Hot Rod or something without some sh1t exploding in the background or people screaming or helicopters/ planes flying overhead while the sun glows with an ethereal, diffuse flared yellow streak.

    Humour, character, the SIZE of the transformer is reasonable. They look too big in the Michael Bay version, you're always going to be just looking at their legs, or head, or just screaming and running while they chase you and everything is fast, blurry, smoky, etc...
