Double appearence in menu bar

So i installed parallels and a couple hours later i have a HUGE problem. Its rather hard to explain so I'll use a photo. The link to the photo is below and i also have a problem of black rectangles appearing randomly around the mouse. sounds like a graphics problem. normally, i would just wipe and be done with it, but i'l away for 8 more days without my install disks and need the problem fixed asap. here is the photo.



edit: look at the menu bar.

    That's VoiceOver, and completely unrelated to Parallels Desktop.



    Press cmd-F5.

    I find it odd that you were searching the Web with no connection. At least according to the little Airport Menu Bar item. I assume you use a wired connection and just never removed that from the Menu Bar?
