I recall a while back Apple was planning an even larger successor to their 30" monitor, the rumour hung around the channels for a few days then dissapeared.
Anyone got any ideas on whats happened? Are Apple still going to release it?

30" is very large. Any larger would be a TV.

not necessarily. I have a 30" and 23" I would not mind to have a 40" plus and just have a single monitor. or maybe dual 40"!
If you are a graphic designer, video editor, etc., it's a dream come true.
