well, so much for ipods and itunes sales tanking... if my own individual experience/anecdotal evidence is any proof, every friggin' bipedal mammal got either/both an ipod and/or itunes gift card this holiday because the itunes music store keeps... timing... out...



maybe it'll clear up later today. or at least even the load. of course, now everyone on the WEST COAST is probably opening their gifts as i type and starting the stampede all over again.

    Beat me too it, I was about to start a thread about the very same thing. I've been trying for over an hour to download a couple of songs only to get timeouts and errors.

    They host the sucker on Akamai actually. So if Akamai is being overwhelmed then either Akamai has no space capacity to shoot Apple's way if they need it, or Apple is being stingy.



    Odds are Akamai hit their limit since it's Christmas Day and they host a lot of major websites.
