Wierd noise when waking sleeping MacBook

When my new C2D MacBook is woken by lifting the lid, I hear a strange noise. it sounds like it is coming from the speakers, and it sounds like static. It lasts about 2 seconds. Any ideas?

    No one else is having this problem? I have found other reports of people having hte same problems. I was just wondering if Apple has said anything abut it or if someone found a possible fix.
