Remote control windows itunes over network

I recently bought a MacBook and was instantly a Mac convert. Problem is that my desktop is still a PC running XP.
Of course, I quickly switched from using WMP/Winamp to using iTunes - let's face it, iTunes is just so much better. Of course, with the wireless net I have at home, I found my music archive (stashed on huge hard drive on my desktop), and could play through that.
Problem is that the Macbook doesn't have speakers that can match the four satelites + sub I have on my desktop. So I would like to be able to control the iTunes I have on Windows over the network from the MacBook.
I have found several good ways to do this from Mac to Mac, but never from Mac to Windows. Is there a simple way to do this?
