User Pictures

You know when you first set up accounts on a new mac, you have to select a picture to display up next to your name? Well, I did that for me and four other users on my computer.

Now I want to get rid of them. They serve no purpose, cause lots of problems. When I turn my computer off, my AIM icon resets to my default user picture on my mac...very weird.

What I want to do is do away with user picture....turn them off. I don't want to set it to all whit picture or something....I just want them off.

Is there anyway to do this?

If not, how can I get it to not change my AIM icon when I turn my computer off.

Thanks.

I don't think you can disable a user picture.

You probably can tell it to stop setting your AIM pic to that, but I don't know how. As a workaround, why not set your account picture to whatever you want your AIM icon to be?

This is a good idea. I think you can't turn off those pictures, unless you want to change to a text login screen, which is a bit of a bother.
