web cam for Mac

Got a new Mac from a friend, I've used them for years and just recently went to PC (dual core, 2.66) because of the ridiculous price of a G5 tower.

Now I'm configuring the G5 and looking for a Mac webcam for under $40. I can buy a webcam any ol where for a PC but Steve Job's Mac is hard to find. I see PC webcams for $19....Grrrr!!! No wonder he gave me his Mac, everything is so proprietary. The built-in "superdive" is a laugh riot, whats so super about a drive that burns DVD's and CD's? Thats a joke too, hehehe.

    Unfortunately you came at a bad time looking for a webcam for Mac. Relatively recently it was announced that iSight was no longer being sold. I know a few people have had success with variants of the Logitech QuickCam. I do not know which models they purchased, however.
