I Have A Fantastic Idea
I've been using iTunes for about 2 years now and I have a list a mile long of playlists I've created over the years. I like making playlists. They're fun. Garden variety playlists, smart playlists... But I've always yearned for something more. Advanced playlists? perhaps.
My idea can be surmised in two words: 'crossfade marker'.
I'm sure you've all played with iTunes crossfade control at one point or another and it just DOESN'T work with everything. Some things sound brilliant crossfaded, other sound crap. So how about a plugin that allows the user to create a playlist in which the crossfade time changes to make the music flow perfectly?
The only thing is. I have no idea how to write a program.
I've searched far and wide across the interweb and found nothing taht remotely fits the idea.
I don't know much, but seeing as the ability to alter crossfade time is already tere it must be a relatively simple job to set something that would change it for you.
So if anyone knows of anything that works like this, or is/knows a programmer who will undertake this project PLEASE TELL ME. Because the longer I think about how amazingly brilliant it would be the more and more I get annoyed that it doesn't exist.
