Any New CPUs from Intel? (CES/MSWF)

Other than MacPro going Quad Core Xeon, is there any new CPUs gonna be announced coming CES? and what is the possibilities of Apple getting one?

    The Intel Core 2 Duo Merom processor update is due out in a few months. Don't expect much in terms of processor upgrades at MWSF. It won't happen. It is much more of a general consumer expo , with products like iTV and perhaps a phone.

    any chance of these CPU going to APPLE's hardware?

    Mac Pro or xMac?



    or it just a addition to current existing product line. I guess it is single socket CPUs



    Intel has something to show up tomorrow?



    Pricing and Availability

    The new Intel Core 2 Quad processor Q6600 (2.4GHz) has been announced and is currently being demonstrated at CES. It is available now at $851 in 1KU quantities. Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® processor pricing includes the X3220 (2.4GHz) at $851 and the Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor X3210 (2.13GHz) at $690.
