Adobe brings Back Premier.

MacWorld is reporting that Adobe is bringing back Premier to the Mac. Will only work on Intel Macs however. Seems like good news to me even though I don't use the program and my needs are currently served by iMovie. Wonder what the pros here think.

    That's what the video pros I work beside think too. Final Cut Pro kicks Premiere's ass in all sorts of ways and it's cheaper given the amount of stuff you get with Final Cut Studio.

    Adobe's Studio Bundles are nice with Encore, After Effects, Premier and their audio tool. This is formidable to Final Cut Studio and you can bet your keister that the edu pricing will be nice as well. I'd buy it.

    Final Cut Pro blows Adobe Premier out of the water. I've used Adobe Premier 2.0 on a PC and Final Cut is a much more intuitive. Let's see what Adobe comes up with, though. They did say they were reworking it from the ground up.
