Steve Jobs to announce; iTunes will auto-download Album lyrics, @ Macworld??

in iPod + iTunes + AppleTV edited January 2014
Just as Steve announced at the Showtime event, that iTunes would give you all the Album Artwork for your imported CD's if you had an iTunes account. Apparently Steve is going to announce the same service for lyrics. When you import a CD the lyrics will automatically dowload into iTunes for you. So under the lyrics tab in 'get info' would be the fully populated lyrics of that particual song. Great! Just in case you ever needed them.

"Gracenote maintains the CDDB that enables iTunes to automatically look up song information when you insert a CD. Gracenote has completed licenses with all 5 major music publishers. Gracenote expects the first publicly-available lyric service to launch in early 2007. Gracenote's solutions are embedded in leading media players such as Apple iTunes, Yahoo Music Engine, RealNetworks Rhapsody, Napster and AOL Winamp, as well as software applications for Creative and iRiver portable devices."

I know. Such a simple thing takes ages to implement. I can't believe books are still made from paper.

If Steve announces this, this means that a new iPod has to be on it's way

Probably will be a new video iPod, with or without this. But certainly iTunes 8.
