jabber in ichat ???

I am trying to use google talk with my ichat and have followed all of the instructions for jabber and everytime I try to log into google talk i get a message saying that jabber can not connect



any suggestions?

    Go to the Preferences,

    make sure you have it set up like this:



    Account Information

    Description: [email protected]

    Jabber ID: [email protected]

    Password: ???



    And Make sure you check the box that says Use this Account.



    Server Settings

    Server: talk.google.com

    Port: 5223

    Check the Following Boxes

    Connect Using SSL

    (the other 2 are optional, but I recommend checking them anyways)

    Location: iChat
