New Final Cut Studio

I'm new to Macs and am not used to the patterns at which Apple releases software. I am aware that the current Final Cut Studio, version 5.1, has been out for about a year now and before I buy it I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of when the new version will be released?

    The typical venue for upgrades of Apple's video products is NAB, which will take place April 16-19 this year.
