So little solid information this year :-(

This has been my most difficult Macworld prediction year ever, there is just so little to go on. Where are the elevator photos and the last minute rumor barrage? With the keynote in less than 3 hours I would like to document my predictions here so that I can come back when it is over and tell a few friends "I TOLD YA SO!"

Definite:

-Updated Mac Mini

-iLife 07

-iWork 07

-Massive Leopard demo with reveal of new UI

Possible but much less likely:

-Leopard released today and available on all new Macs, PLUS new UI

-New Mac desktop to fit between the Mini and iMac

-Widescreen iPod or possibly a new Newton?

Possible but very unlikely

-iPhone (I am not convinced-I think Apple would use a special event for this-not MACworld)

Well that's all I see happening today, just a few hours until we know the truth!

Steve clearly stated that iTV is only code name, the shipping product will have another name, possibly associated with another product line such as AirPort.

Wow did I miss the mark by a MILE! Apple really ticked me off with this one. I acknowledge that the iPhone is AMAZING but it is MACworld! I could not believe my ears when he said that he was done talking about the mac what was it, about 15-20 minutes in?

I am so ticked that I was all ready to buy an updated Mac, even just to get the iLife 07 update but not even that came through!
