8 core mac pro

I hope im in the right section for this, i am currently in the market to buy the new mac pro, but everyone told me to wait a month for mac world to see if the new 8 core macs where coming out, and im quite confused on what the real say is on this subject. Now for people that sorta know, will it be coming out this month, next or when? im going to try giving apple a phone call and see what kind of answers i can get from them. but any input from any one on here is great too.

    The quick answer: No idea.



    The complex solution: Buy a Mac Pro with low end processors, buy your own Quad Cores and then install those. Mac Pros make it really hard to get to the processors though and it WOULD be expensive...

    Apple has a nasty habit of not making any definite announcements. Your guess is as good as mine.
