failed ADC-DVI Converter
I appear to have run into an unusual fault.
I have an apple ADC-DVI converter for my 23" monitor to talk to my
powerbook G4 1GHz laptop.
When i plug it in, it sends a forced shut down signal, it appears the unit is forcing
that line to my powerbook.
I swapped monitors, it's not the moniter, i swapped boxes and bingo, i'm fine.
Has anyone ever seen that?
Any suggestions besides throwing it out and getting another?
It's more then 12 months old, so i doubt apple warranties it.
