failed ADC-DVI Converter

I have an apple ADC-DVI converter for my powerbook g4, and

it appears failed, it sends a force shutdown to the powerbook.

i swpaped units and everything is good, but, what do i do with the unit?

There appears no way to troubleshoot or repair it.

If it's more then 12 months old, Apple won't do anything, will they?

Is it now a doorstop?

You mean DVI-ADC? PowerBooks never had an ADC out port, so I guess you must mean you have an Apple display with an ADC port that you wanted to drive from your PowerBook?

Everything is good but something's broken? Does not make sense.

You swapped what with what? You used the same cable with a different computer, and that works, but now the PowerBook won't start?

Further information required. It would seem you are talking about the PowerBook. What have you tried to revive it?
