Question about upgrading iMac G3 400mhz

I just bought two working iMac G3 400mhz from a friend from 20 bucks 8). I collect spare computer parts all the time so I have more ram for both machines, but what I have a question with are the hard drives. I have two 40gig hard drives laying around that I want to put in each iMac, considering they both come with a wooping 10gb hard drive!!! Anyway, I have read that some hard drives can over heat the iMac, both of these drives are older drives that came in low end Dell machines about 4 years ago, do I really need to worry about these computers overheating???

Thanks

Naw. I put a faster/larger HD in my 266 iMac. It's fine. It has a fan

    Yes its this model

I had played with on about 9 years ago when they first came out and I really loved them. I thought they were the neatest thing, so when I got the chance to get one I went for it. I love Macs, weither it be Intel or PPC. Honestly, I really wish I could find a working Macintosh SE, mine died on me about 2 years ago, I was really heart broken, I still have that Mac in my closet though.
