iTunes crashing

Opened the music store in iTunes as a separate window. Now every time I try to close the music store window, iTunes shuts down. Tried going into preferences, but nothing seems to apply. Have also shut down the compuer and rebooted, but same senario

    We need some more information. Are you using Windows or OS X? What version of iTunes are you using? Is this the US store?

    Try deleting your itunes preferences in /users/<name>/Library/preferences. It's called com.apple.itunes.plist. That's probably where it keeps window settings. Don't worry, this won't affect any playlists or music info. If that doesn't sort it, please post your crash log that you get when you hit report on the unexpectedly quit dialog.
