I saw on a few sites (nvnews.net) that the GeForce 4 will be coming out in spring. Wonder if a MWTY release is possible?

Probabily the Microsoft X box is based upon the brand new chip of Nvidia the nv 25 : probabily we will see this chip in the desktop world soon, and for sure they will call him Geforce 4.

the nvidia chip that is in the xbox is nearly identical to the Geforce3 that was released last Jan (not the ti).
Umm, nope you've got it wrong. The major difference between the Xbox chip and the Geforce 3 is that the Xbox one has 2 vertex shader units where the Geforce 3 only has one. The new NV25 has two also. I also see that the Geforce 4 should have 128MB DDR ram on it. Funny that this graphics card for (somewhat) mainstream has as much ram as my system...

Maybe, Apple could even go so far as replacing the GeForce 3 option with the GeForce 3 Ti-500 in order to offer even more performance seperation.
In doing so, they would hopefully put a Radeon VE or GeForce 2mx, 2mx Ti-200 in the iMacs.
One can hope, can't we?

The geforce4 will be far more powerful.
