I bought my 30 GB iPod in August, so it's not old. I just watched the movie Happy Feet on it, going from a fully charged battery. By the time the movie was over, the battery only had a sliver of red left. Is this normal?

If you have been using your iPod very frequently, then it is not too bad. But HappyFeet is only 1.5hours... However, you can check with your local Apple Service Center and see what they say. They may or may not provide you with a new battery.

I don't use it every day, but a few times a week for sure. I hope I don't have to do that diagnostic stuff outlined on the Apple page!
