i'm using .5 / Build ID: 2002100604....it seems very stable and i have had little problems so far....it seems some of the nightly after this build had some problems with having to move files or prefs to get it working....so i've stuck with this build for a while...getting antsy to try out the latest build.....so, what build are they running now? and is it stable without too much mucking about??? thanks g

I'm using 2002101104 and have found it pretty stable. The only time it quits on me is when I visit the New York Times website. Otherwise it's great.

2002102404 is the build I've got. Haven't tried downloading tonight to see if there's a new one.

It's mostly stable, though I've had a couple problems with it crashing when looking at some online comics' websites. Otherwise, it's been great.

I downloaded mine last night. It only crashed when I first tried to access this Forum.

Scary since I haven't had it crash on all the other Nightlies for weeks.

FYI: The 10-26 build vastly improves the rendering of Flash content. Namely, Flash content no longer overdraws interface elements when scrolling on the page. More importantly (at least for me) the 10-26 build seems to fix the presumably Flash-related crashes on sites like NYTimes.com and WashingtonPost.com. If you're running any of the earlier builds, I highly recommend you move up to 10-26.

Edit: By "10-26" build I mean the 2002102604 build.

Last night's build seems to fix most of my complaints about text field handling, etcetera.

Damn, this is really getting nice. Too bad the icons are still ehh.

downloaded the Oct 27 build and has yet to crash on me. Quite impressed seeing that Oct 11th build would crash 5-6 times a day on seemingly non obvious pages.

Until someone can fix the shitty text entry on Mozilla/Chimera, I'll *always* be keeping a copy of OmniWeb running beside it. There is no good reason that entering text should be as horrendous as it is in the Gecko-based browsers.

Jonathan, your build really helped text handling? It's still as awful as ever for me in the Oct 28 build.

YES!!!! AND IT FINALLY SUPPORTS RIGHT CLICK ON TABS (like in Mozilla) so that I can close tabs that way instead of having to press APple+W

Muahahahahah... my life is (almost) complete

I'm with Brad on this one. I luvs me some OmniWeb.

I guess the only thing keeping me from using Chimera, other than text entry is small text display. It doesn't use Quartz to smooth smaller text, like at the bottom of <a href="http://www.apple.com"; target="_blank">www.apple.com</a>. I had used TinkerTool to change this in 10.1 (even though it still only relied on QuickDraw instead of Quartz), but no dice in 10.2

I'm sorry, but when OmniWeb works, it renders beautifully! That's why I use it 95% of the time.
