Apple have stepped up a gear in their advertising campaign in Europe, introducing the UK to the popular 'Get A Mac' campaign. The UK campaign is hosted by cult comedy 'Peep Show' and 'That Mitchell And Web Look' comedians David Mitchell and Robert Webb. The ads follow almost the same script as the US although some Britishisms have been added by the comedy duo.

This could be a smart move on Apple's part after realizing their success of the iPod in European countries and the possible Halo effect that it has sparked. Pushing Mac OS over Vista could only lead to good things after the current controversies over Vista's DRM and Elitist USB device compatibility. After reading several reviews it appears that Jo Public are becoming wise to the 'dirty tactics' Microsoft have played on the consumer for it's new big-bucks-monopolist favouring OS.

See what you think

    Hahahahaha-

    I love it.

Those two are fantastic actors, and I love Peep Show (Its not pornographic, as much as it may seem). Excellent move by Apple.

The PC in the UK version looks more arrogant whereas the PC in the US version just looks confused and pathetic.
