Upgrading the 24" iMac: RAM v. Video Card

Just as the topic states. I am planning on buying a 24" iMac, but I also plan on upgrading it, but I have a few thoughts.



Which can you upgrade later EASILY? RAM or the Video Card? Both?



If I plan on mostly editing video on my iMac, what would be more useful, getting the nvidia 7600 or the 2GB RAM upgrade?

    RAM, definitely. The video card is irrelevant to editing video.

    Yes, but presumably updating the RAM is easier later.

    At the present, at least according to Apple you can only upgrade the video card when ordering your Mac. As for the RAM it can easily be added later.

    If you want he better video card, get it when you order as Mark55 says.
