Webserver Problems

I have just registered a new domain name, and although I can access my folders, images and HTML files fine, it returns an error 404 when I try to access my .plist or .dmg files. Any suggestions?!

My host has one folder for html files and one for data, but I can't get any joy by trying the files in either.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a domain novice! Thanks for the help.

I should have said - I managed to get dmg.zip files to work, so I really just need a way to get .plist files to load. Thanks

The only thing I can think of is ask your web host about setting a MIME type of something for .plist files... Just a random idea.

Thanks for the reply. In the end I just plumped for .xml files instead of .plist (does the same thing), and encoded my .dmg files as .dmg.zip. My host was about useless about replying!
