MBP 15" C2D Superdrive is dual layer or not?

So, on the Apple website, it says that the Superdrive on the MBP can burn dual layer.



However, when I look at my System Profiler, for DVD-Write it says "-R, -RW"



Shouldn't it say something like "+R DL" for it to be dual layer?



I'm confused. Did I get tricked??

    ya the superdrive is dual layer...



    if you go to the Apple store, and go to the Macbook Pro, it says right on the 3 configurations "dual-layer Superdrive"

    So the System Profiler is wrong then.

    Um, why don't you try burning a dual-layer disc?
