Ibook \ Os 9 \ Os X

I have a Ibook, I re-installed it with just Os X on it. Can I install Os 9 on it still with out loosing my information. If so, how?

I believe so. I think you can boot from the OS 9.2.2 CD and install it without affecting X. I'm not positive though.

If you installed jag and only have one partition, it won't work.
I'm not sure why.

you may want to check out software resore, I know on my new superdrive pb I was able to add 9 but only to the same partition as X ( I don't know why)
