what do i need to get imovie HD to import audio files without crashing? some quicktime plug in maybe
imovie HD is really unstable for me and has been on at least two machines: A 2GHZ iMac G5 and my new MacBook Pro 2.33. I recently imported a video of one of concerts to make it into a DVD. It crashed before I could save it. However, when this happens, the clips are automatically moved into iMovie's trash. Trying to get the clips back out was odd...at first I couldn't drag them out like you're supposed to be able to do. I ended up having to quit and click on the actual project file instead of opening it from iMovie itself. Then it worked. I find it quits a lot though. I just ran a permissions repair....maybe that will help on the next go around.
What are the specifics of your problem? What is the file type? What hardware?
