File Transfer Problems with Adium

I've been trying to send pictures to my friend through Adium 1.0 and it keeps saying that she canceled it almost always after I click Send (Which means that my friend was not canceling it herself. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks in advance.

    Go to www.adiumx.com and post on the forums. They would be a lot more helpful, there are actually I a lot of developers that hang around there.

    there actually is a simple fix for this. you can find the solution in the adium forum as smax suggested in case i got any part of it wrong.



    1. open sharing in your system prefs and select the firewall tab.



    2. press the new button.



    3. make sure the following is in the fields provided:



    port name: other

    tcp port number(s): 5190, -, 5200

    udp: leave this field blank

    description: AIM
