Apple finaly decided to replace my macbook

Let me remind you of the problems i have had:

2x inside casing cracking (where screen rests rest on the inner chasis)

1x large patch of dead pixels

1x half screen going completly dead

So what made them finally give me a replacement, not the latest problem which was the half screen going completly dead but instead it was because its been in repair for 2 weeks and the local authorised dealer couldnt get hold of a replacement screen until 20th febuary at the earliest meaning the total repair time would have been a short (well not realy short) 4 weeks.

I went to the dealer yesterday to ask what the holdup was, they told me about the backlog of screen orders because of a shortage at apple uk and apple themselves wouldnt be receiving the screens into the country until 19th january.

I then caled Apple UK support, expressed my dissatisfaction with their service (my laptop has spent 20% of its life in a repair centre) and i got put through to level 2 tech support. They then did an assessment, called me back and started the process of replacing my laptop.
