i was told at the apple store that if you have cs2 (mac software), that when cs3 is released, you will be able to purchase an upgrade version of cs3 (universal software) and install the latest software without any problems. is this true? i understand that installing cs2 with the current intel macs, will show significant decrease in speed.

if that is the case, i wonder if they will ever release a universal version of studio 8?

Yeah its noticeable under Rosetta, and I have 4 gigs of ram. It's usable for sure, but it's not what it should be at all. Illustrator has a few problems, but again for the time being it's not bad. Cinema 4D runs AMAZING though, and if the new CS3 runs anything like it, I will be VERY happy. Studio 8 will not be re-released from what I understand, just like the rest of the Adobe products. I just want the new software already, it's been long enough.
