How do I talk to people on MSN or Skype?

Can someone tell me how I talk to people on MSN or Skype?



I registered an AIM ID and was expecting to be able to talk with MSN or Skype.

(Yes... I'm a newbie.)



In the end I installed Skype and can at least speak to Skype users now.



If I can't directly speak with MSN users... then is there a Mac version of MSN?

    looks like it doesn't do video?

    thats what i wanted to use for most.



    so i guess i have to stick to skype?

    (actually... i thought... i coudln't really use msn to speak to skype with video anyway... so same would apply to mac?)

    Skype is probably the best solution for video.



    No, you cannot use MSN to "talk" to Skype on Windows or OS X.
