i just sold my macbook and bought a macbook pro. i noticed that when i try to listen to my itunes that i purchased from previous notebook, i'm limited to the number of computers that i listen to my purchased tracks (5 computers is the maximum). is there a way that i can remove the previous computers that i allowed my tracks to be listened to?

Yes it's quite simple. Choose Store from the Menu in iTunes on the computer you no longer need, and select 'Deauthorize Computer'.

Since you've already sold the old computer, you can't de-authorize it now (you'd need the computer in your hands.) However, once you use all 5 of your "limits", then you will have the option of de-authorizing ALL computers on your account. You'll then be able to re-authorize 5 machines of your choosing.

You can also deauthorize all computers from your iTS Prefs (My Account section), and reauthenticate the computers you will be using.

The good thing about this way, is that you can deauthenticate computers you do not have access to.

Edit: I guess you beat me to it 'King' :P
