iBook battery : 96% fully charged?

Okay so a few days ago it said 99% and fully charged.. then a day later it was 98 ..then 97 now 96..



WHATS THE DEAL!?!?

    Are you wondering why your battery is going down? Is it on sleep all these days, or is being charged but not all the way?

    It's had the power adapter plugged in all the time, and when i click the battery icon, it says fully charged, even though it displays "96%"



    I'm just curious why it wont read 100

    That is because the battery gets discharged a little bit every day. In order to prolong the lifespan of the battery, it only gets charged back to 100% whenever the level goes below 95%.
