Brushed Metal Has Stuff Me Up

I add it to my chimera browser and now when ever i try to select text some times the window which that text is in moves with my mouse while i'm trying to select the text.....i add the brushed metal look with the Dev app that come with os 10.2 and i don't know what to do to fix it....i have trashed this copy of chimera and done it over again to a new copy (0.6 of chimera) and it still happends



PLEASE help i like this look!

    Yeah, that is a bug in Chimera with the custom view it uses. It was not designed to use brushed metal. So, either don't select text or turn the brushed metal off. Simple as that.

    Well, color me surprised. He actually got it to work. Thanks for the link jeromba. It looks like he's added a blank field in there to grab the clicks before going through to the window. Interesting.



    I should note that this may break things in current or future builds of Chimera if the nib has changed (or will change) from the one he used in the October 3rd build.

    This was a nib for chimera 0.5.

    I think the author is doing some work now for 0.6.

    Maybe you can send him a <a href="http://www.iconmaster.com/contact.php"; target="_blank">feedback</a> or tell him you want the updated lib on the Ars forum.

    I tryed that and it looks SOOO cool..but it still has that bug would this be fixed so it doesn't do that anymore or do the programs do it so you keep it the way they want you to?

    Well you see it's not a bug that comes up every time...it's one of those "when i feel like it" bugs.....it doesn't happen all of the time.....but it does happen.....keep useing it....it should pop back up.
