Google images displays question marks instead - G5 iMac?

My friend has asked me to try and solve this one, but I'm not sure what's wrong. I updated, I emptied cache, I restarted. He's had this problem a while now. Does anyone know what's wrong with his safari? Safari doesn't display any images on Google images, just pages and pages of the squares where the images should be, but instead of images there's those tiny question marks. Maybe it's a quicktime problem?

Do the pictures on other pages load? If not, check Preferences --> Appearance --> "Display images when the page opens".

If that doesn't help, check the DNS settings and/or try to set them to known, working ones.
