Can't view some Programs

Not sure what options were changed. I can open the program ,but the window just comes up gray.



Any help would be appreciated



MBP C2D 2.33

15 inch

OSX

it seems to be several things, such as a java window... I updated my java but still no luck..



I new to macs yet.
