Converting RM Videos for iPod

I have some MIT OpenCourseWare videos in .RM format that I wish to carry on my iPod. Is there some simple way (hopefully free) to perform the conversion on my Mac?

    I purchased a video conveter for my new ipod to convert avi,wmv,rm,rmvb file to mp4 to play on my ipod,I convert it on windows,I don't try it on Mac,don't know whether or not it support mac, you can free download it to try http://www.my-video-converter.com/video_to_ipod/

    The app looks like Windows only. Guess I'll have to keep looking.

    I don't know how to convert them but I do have a question for you on this. How did you save the .rm files. I've been viewing some of the courseware but I cannot save the files.

    I've tried both the applications you've suggested with no effect, I even tried using the RealMedia codecs with FFMpegX as mentioned here:

    Yes, I've tried this one too, FFmpegX kept crashing on me.Maybe I'll give it another shot in the near future. For all their super-intelligent people, why does MIT use RM?
