Mac shortcuts

I am very new to osx and have a couple of questions about some keyboard shortcuts..





How do i show show all of my windows like tiles? i thought it was f7 but it doesn't do anything.



What does f8-f10 do because nothing hapens when i press them...





I have searched, and looked through the manuals on my computer..

    Let me guess... A Macbook Pro?



    F8-F10 adjust keyboard backlight brightness when it's on so you can't use those keys to show all windows with one key. Hit fn-F9 and fn-F10 to show your windows.



    Personally, I killed my dock because I never use it and set F11 to show the desktop and F12 to show all windows.

    Iprobably should have said to to to the Preferences and click on Dashboard adn Expose. There you can change what F key does what.
