Iphones ability or inability to play regular 3GP/MP4 clips

Hi there, ok so we know it will obviously play ipod encoded content or ipod purchased content but surley the iphone will still be able to play play regular encoded 3gp and mp4 videos or are apple really going to close it off and not allow this?



I hope not as half the fun of bluetooth is being able to share videos ect....and it would be a shame not to allow such a nice phone the ability to play normal 3gp videos.



Im sure it probabaly will as Apple would have to be dumb not to but it is possible.

    it will probably be able to play those files, but who knows, it isn't out yet.

    When do you think it will be properly reviewed? june release in the US should mean reviews at least in May right?
