Microsoft Office Help!!!

Whenever I open and Office document i get the error message 'An unexpected error occurred while trying toload the Microsoft Framework library.' Does anyone know why this is. I downloaded Office from my school. Any ideas??

    From your school eh?



    Make sure it's Office for Mac and not Office for Windows.



    And if it is, try reinstalling it.

    its cool my schools IT is one of the best in the nation...

    its for mac, it works properly and everything no problems, other than the error message..whats the best way to delete it completely from my computer..(new to macs, and how easy they are)

    Well I'm not familar with Office myself, but I believe it uses a .pkg so you would need to use the uninstall package.

    To delete it, use the same method you used to install it. My guess is you just dragged and dropped the Office folder to your computer, so then just drag and drop the folder to the trash and empty trash.



    If you have an install CD/image, then try reinstalling or uninstalling from the CD/image.

    Um, actually Office uses the .pkg install. I found that out when dealing with the Trial Version before. There's also an annoying uninstall .pkg that requires you to quit Messenger first for some stupid reason.

    It's an issue that has supposedly been fixed with updates. Run the Microsoft update manager.
