Is there an address/event service?

I would love to find a Mac OS X service that can parse a basic address or event and add them to Address Book or iCal... Obviously a more sophisticated version which can really tear apart the semantics of highlighted text would be great, but I would just settle for something simple. Nobody really embeds vCards in their e-mails so I thought it would be nice to have something to get the info out easily....



Anyone know of something that can do this? If I knew more about Mac OS X I would probably write something, and the numerous RegEx type expressions for pattern matching wouldn't be too difficult.
