What's wrong with 10.4.9?

I'm wondering what's going on with 10.4.9 recently. Sources say that there are no known issues left for the package so why hasn't it been released already?



Are there some strategic issues behind, like Leopard release or any special event? Or are there still some technical/software issues open?



Does anybody have a clue?

    I don't know but it may be tied to a hardware release. iMacs and Mac Pros are all due for updates.

    Beelzebubi, you actually registered to this forum just to ask about the release of a software update that the general public doesn't even know about?



    It will be released when Apple decides to release it. The holdup could be many possible things. I don't think anybody who would respond knows for sure, so my speculation is as good as any. My speculation is that it will be released late Friday afternoon, Pacific Time.

    There are possibly some tie ins with the AppleTV which could also have something to do with the non release of iLife 07.



    I am hoping to see it next week.
